Here are a few of my favorite cloth diapering things, from this time around. It's fun having a second chance to try a few new things.

giant wet bag
Yeah, when Lydia first came home that giant bag of pee/poop diapers hung from our stairs, right in the middle of our house. So classy. I spent most of my csection recovery time on the couch and that was the best place for it. Anyway, I made the bag out of a yard of fabric folded in half and a yard of PLU. Later when I moved the bag up to Lydia's room I added a zipper to the top, instead of just folding it over. The fold over was just simpler to open when I was holding her.
favorite cleaners
not new, I used these with Oliver's diapers also
I hear of people just using Tide or some other regular soap for their diapers, but I just can't bring myself to trying it. These might cost a bit more, but I know they work and I know they are safe. I don't use the biokeel very often now, just a few sprays on some of the crazy poop diapers. Also, the sun is amazing at getting out any remaining stains. I order these items from vine.com, they always tell me when it's on sale! Plus vine has amazingly fast shipping.
Biokleen, also awesome on carpet, the couch, Oliver's mud covered clothes...
Rockin Green, we use the classic rock as our water is normal
Wipes
I didn't use cloth wipes with Oliver and it was super annoying. I hated putting the diapers in once place and having to take the wipes somewhere else, but I didn't really know what to do with cloth wipes or how to get started. Silly me, it's so easy and their poop cleaning ability is far superior. Here is what we do.
Wipes, we also use the million newborn washcloths we were gifted
Soap bits, I just dissolve 2 bits in 2.5 cups of water then dump it on the wipes, ring them out, and they are ready to go. We get the root beer sent, it's awesome and all natural, unlike chemical filled disposable wipes.
Now my most favorite item I got this time around, it's a
oxo wipes holder.
You just push the top and it pops open
There is a weight inside that makes sure you only get one wipe at a time, even if you use disposable wipes. You never have to deal with that snake of wipes all stuck together.
