build a bird feeder, toddler/preschool edition

A month or so ago we made these insanely simple bird feeders.  We hung them in a tree outside our dining room window, so we could watch the birds eat their breakfast while we ate ours. 

Supplies

pipe cleaner
cheerios

-put cheerios on pipe cleaner
-make it into a circle
-hang in tree
-observe

our baby bird is doing a little sampling

takes longer when you insist on counting them
over and over and over...
